Subject: Inventory
Dear Mr. Hartley,
I would like to suggest that we increase our stock of Kubota products this coming holiday season and decrease our SpacerX inventory. Based on our research, we project holiday sales of Kubota products could be over 45% higher than SpacerX products even though the goods are often considered comparable in quality and SpacerX is actually much lower in price.
I was e-mailed yesterday by Ivana Krsycewski, who offered us additional wholesale discounts on SpacerX products. These discounts do indeed make the SpacerX attractive from a price perspective. She also reminded us that SpacerX won several awards at the Berlin Electronics Show last year.
Nevertheless, based on our projections above we believe we would still earn more income from Kubota than SpacerX. That being the case, I was thinking of adding these products to our current store product line.

A.
The blues was born on the Mississippi River Delta in the early 1900s. After the Civil War, the slaves were free but life was still not easy. They had to find new work. In the South, work camps were formed. Black people from these camps worked on farms and on building up the Mississippi River banks. During the week the people worked long and hard. They often lived alone, without their families, far from home. On the weekends, the workers got together at picnics or drinking places. Traveling black musicians with guitars entertained them. The musicians sang songs about the difficult life of the Workers. These songs were called the blues.
B.
If you have the blues it means you feel very sad. But blues songs were not always sad. Some of them were happy and many of them were funny.
C.
Early blues singers often had very interesting names like Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin Wolf. Sometimes the blues singers had song contests. Each singer sang new words or a new style of the blues song. They made up the music as they played. In this way they created new music. This is called improvisation (即兴演奏). Later, improvization became a very important part of jazz music.
D.
Blues began in the country in the South. As blacks moved into the big cities to work, the blues went with them. There, they sang about life in the cities. W.C. Handy, a black band leader from Memphis made the blues popular all over America. In 1914 he wrote the most famous blues song of all, "The St. Louis Blues.\

【单选题】A woman’s identity includes the following EXCEPT (). A.what she thinks of herself as a person B.who she thinks she is C.what she thinks she can do D.what kind of chores she does in a family

A.
There are many aspects of the women’s liberation movement. Some women agree with all of the goals of women’s liberation. They want full equality with men in every aspect of life. In marriage, they want husbands and wives to share all of the work and responsibilities of a home and family. In work, they want women and men to have the same jobs and the same chance to succeed. They want women to be paid just as much as men are for the same work. Other women agree with some of the ideas of women’s liberation. They want the same pay if they hold the same job as a man. At home, however, they do not expect their husbands to share in the cleaning, cooking, and other household jobs.
B.
It is important to remember that the women’s liberation movement is not concerned only with concrete issues. The movement is also concerned with attitudes and beliefs. One example of this concern is the issue of a woman’s identity. A woman’s identity is what she thinks of herself as a person, who she thinks she is, and what she thinks she can do. Some women do not think they are capable of doing anything important, The women’s liberation movement would like to help these women improve their view of themselves. Mary women who are concerned with women’s liberation have taken jobs, have helped others, have raised healthy children, and have done many other things to contribute to their communities. They have shown that they are capable of being good leaders and of doing many important things.
