Vending machines (售卖机),sell many different types of items. Although there are many different types and sizes of vending machines, they all work in basically the same way. The customer puts a coin in the machine and then pushes a button, pulls a lever(杠), or opens a door to receive the merchandise. Some machines will also return change to the customer for paper money.
