An imperative sentence (祈使句) is a sentence that gives instructions or expresses a request, command, etc. A typical imperative sentence begins with a verb and, because of this, some people think that imperative sentences have no subject. In fact, while using an imperative sentence, the speaker or the writer is always asking you to do something and so the logical subject of an imperative sentence is always YOU.
