As you know, we have delayed release of the T-Spot tennis racket in Indonesia for almost two months. However, I think right now might be an opportune time to begin marketing it. There are several reasons why I feel this way.
Firstly, the racket proved very popular among the 2,000 consumers in Malaysia who were given it free after agreeing to provide feedback on it. In those tests, users preferred to use our product by four to one margins against the Primer, the most popular tennis racket both there and in Thailand. It also performed similarly well against models such as the Viper, the Amaze, and the ProHand.
Also, we are very confident in the product’s strength and durability. Your teams in Singapore have done an excellent job of creating a product that meets the high standards of our ysts here.
In addition, the T-spot could be sold at a very competitive price-almost 18% lower than rival models. That would make it even more appealing to consumers who might be budget-conscious.
I understand that the final decision is yours and the Board’s. However, I do feel quite confident that the product could be very successful and that further delay sacrifices both revenue and market share that we could be building right now.
